Individual Therapy for Anxiety, Stress, and Life Transitions in South Carolina & Vermont

When things feel manageable on the outside, but not internally

A lot of people who start therapy aren’t in crisis.

They’re functioning. Showing up to work or school. Handling responsibilities.

But internally, it can feel like:

  • overthinking that doesn’t shut off

  • stress that keeps building

  • feeling stuck or off without a clear reason

  • or patterns that don’t seem to change, even when you try

Therapy becomes a place to slow that down and understand what’s actually going on.

What Individual Therapy Can Help With

I work with teens, college students, and adults navigating:

  • anxiety and overthinking

  • depression or low motivation

  • stress and feeling overwhelmed

  • life transitions (school, career, identity changes)

  • self-worth and confidence

  • relationship and communication patterns

These experiences often overlap. We take time to understand how they show up for you specifically, rather than trying to fit things into a single category.

A Thoughtful, Steady Approach to Therapy

Therapy with me is conversational, but intentional.

We focus on:

  • understanding patterns over time

  • identifying what tends to trigger or maintain them

  • and finding ways to respond that feel more manageable and consistent

This isn’t about overanalyzing everything or moving too quickly. It’s about creating enough clarity to make changes that actually stick.

Therapy for Teens and Young Adults

Adolescence and early adulthood come with a lot of internal and external change.

In therapy, teens and young adults have space to:

  • better understand their thoughts and emotions

  • build communication and decision-making skills

  • navigate relationships and expectations

The goal isn’t just problem-solving- it’s helping them feel more confident in how they move through situations.

Individual Therapy for Adults

For adults, therapy often involves stepping back and taking a more consistent look at patterns in thoughts, behaviors, and relationships.

We work toward:

  • responding more intentionally rather than reactively

  • feeling more steady day-to-day

  • and building a clearer sense of direction over time

It’s not about fixing everything at once. It’s about making things feel more workable.
